Anand has run 20 marathons in as many months, taking part in exotic marathons on the continents such as the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (Kenya, Africa), Australian Outback Marathon (Australia), Athens Classic Marathon (Greece, Europe) Disneyworld Marathon (USA, North America), Galapagos (Equador, South America) and the Borneo International Marathon (Malaysia, Asia) as well as the North Pole Marathon on the Arctic Ocean. After seeing the statue of Pheidippides during his Athens Marathon, Anand was inspired by the fact he was depicted running barefoot and subsequently organised the world’s first barefoot half-marathon in his home town of Navi Mumbai. With 306 athletes running the entire 13.1 miles barefoot, the first edition set a Guinness World Record for the 'Largest Barefoot Run'. Having already run the Gold Coast marathon barefoot, Anand plans to complete full marathons on six continents barefoot in 2012, but not daring to do so in Antarctica.

Participated in numerous ultramarathons including in the Andes, Sahara Desert and the Himalayas. For each kilomtere run in these events, Sebastian would persuade companies to make donations to five disadvantaged entities. The Antarctic Ice Marathon & 100k events will be used by Sebastian in the same manner, with companies like OMINT, Codere, Gatorade, Bimbo Oroweat, Nature Crops Mormaii, Weber, Pole Position and Cauciones, among others, all make donations to disadvantaged entities for each kilomtere that he runs. He has set up a project called "SA18", Sebastián Armenault 18, giving lectures in schools, clubs, neighborhood development committees, senior citizens groups and companies to encourage self improvement and development. A charity runner raising funds for three British girls who urgently need treatment for a childhood cancer called neuroblastoma. Yvonne has previously completed one marathon in Vermont (USA) in a quick 3:11 hrs. However, her presence in Vermot was due to her own six-year-old son Jack needing treatment for the disease. Jack had been treated in New York in 2006 and 2007 but it proved unsuccessful and he tragically died the following year (www.jackbrownappeal.org). Running helped Yvonne cope with Jack's loss. As three British girls now desperately need treatment in the U.S.A. for the same disease, she is undertaking the marathon to help raise the necessary funds to enable these children to receive the treatment they so badly need. Clement is supporting a cystic fibrosis charity called "Vaincre la Mucoviscidose". Cystic fibrosis is a deadly genetically transmitted disease that destroys lungs and provokes severe respiratory and digestive disorders. It is still incurable. The Frenchman is an active member of triathlon club in Luxembourg where he works in a Swiss private bank. His other passion is free diving and spear fishing.
