
Frédéric, an amateur triathlete from Montreal, is the proud father of three boys. Inspired by friends, he took on the Great Wall of China Marathon last year and had a blast completing it. At the closing ceremony, he watched a runner receive an award for finishing marathons on all seven continents—and with his friends, he added that goal to his own bucket list. Now, he is thrilled to be chasing the dream in Antarctica.






Robin is a mountaineer and endurance athlete taking on his first full marathon. He has climbed over ten peaks exceeding 6,000 meters and successfully summited Mount Manaslu (8,163m) in 2024.

Lynn, a 70-year-old marathon runner, is pursuing the goal of completing all seven continents. She first attempted a Marathon on King George Island in 2022, but had to drop out at the halfway point due to a knee issue on the steep downhills. Since running her first marathon at age 56—the Marine Corps Marathon in 2011—she has completed 25 marathons, including recent finishes in London (2025), Berlin (2024), Tokyo and Paris (2024), and Sydney (2023). She also ran Cape Town in 2022 and the Midnight Sun Marathon above the Arctic Circle in Tromsø, Norway, in 2019. Boston remains the final stop on her path to completing all six Abbott World Marathon Majors. A radiologist who still works part-time to fund her running adventures, Lynn looks forward to this event—an inspiration since 2016, when she first read about it and set her sights on running around the world.

Andrea is an athlete from Italy, still figuring out his dating goals with running. He recently moved back to the Dolcevita country after years in the South-East Asia where he felt in love with cultures, traditions, and thousands-year stories. In the past two years he lived in Australia to take on the entrepreneurial journey. He is moved by a what’s difficult is achievable and what is achievable is then improvable. He loves the sense of community the comes with running, the health benefits that sports provide as a daily habit, the chance of paying forward all the good received through active support, Global charities and aid foundations. He ran multiple marathons in Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania. He embarked in a journey to promote physical and mental wellbeing through sports, running and being active in order to defeat routine and depression. He is affiliated with the federation of modern pentathlon, switching to OCR next year. This is his second Ice Marathon in Antarctica after the previous one in 2024.

Charles has competed in endurance sports for more than 13 years. His races include 13 full-distance Ironman races (culminating in 5 Ironmans in 5 days), 6 Ironman 70.3 events, 5 marathons, and 9 half-marathons. He has also completed several marathon-distance swims covering distances of 36, 12, and 10.5 miles, and has twice competed in the ÖtillÖ Swimrun World Championships (2019 and 2021). In 2022, he finished the Moab 240 ultra-marathon. Endurance sports have been a consistent part of his life—a way to stay healthy, challenge himself, and experience different parts of the world.

Yifan is a passionate marathon runner who has competed in major races around the world. In Asia, Yifan ran the Beijing Marathon in 2016. They participated in the London Marathon in Europe and the Boston Marathon in North America in 2017. In 2019, Yifan took on the Mauritius Marathon in Africa and the Sydney Marathon in Oceania. Most recently, Yifan completed the Punta Arenas Marathon in South America in 2020. Yifan's dedication to running has taken them across six continents, showcasing their love for the sport and adventure.

Scott, 33, is an aerospace engineer who first took up running to stay in shape. His passion for the sport grew when he discovered his girlfriend, Delta, was also a runner—and what started as a way to impress her has turned into a shared adventure. Now, the two run, travel, and explore the world together, with Scott proudly chasing Delta all the way to Antarctica.

Stephanie Chapman has completed marathons in all 50 U.S. states plus Washington, D.C., and has already conquered six continents on her journey toward joining the prestigious 7 Marathons Club®. Formerly running under the name Stephanie Smith until her marriage in May 2020, she has built an impressive international running résumé. Her global races include the Inca Trail Marathon (Peru, 2009), Loch Ness Marathon (Scotland, 2012), Kilimanjaro Marathon (Tanzania, 2013), Big Sur Marathon (USA, 2013), Sydney Marathon (Australia, 2023), and the Bhutan International Marathon (2024). In December 2025, she will take on the Antarctic Ice Marathon—her seventh and final continent—to officially complete the 7 Marathons Club® challenge.

Jean is running alongside three friends, continuing a journey they began together at the Great Wall of China Marathon last year. After promising to complete all seven continents as a team, this race marks their second adventure together on the road to that goal.


Patrick Cooper, 66, is a dual U.S. and Irish citizen currently based in Chicago, Illinois, with strong ties to his hometown of Cork, Ireland. Over the years, his career with Abbott in nutrition manufacturing operations took him around the world, including seven years in Singapore and two in China, before retiring in 2022. Patrick now splits his time between Chicago and Ireland, traveling back to Cork several times each year. A devoted family man, he and his wife have twin daughters, age 26, and a son, 23. One of his daughters shares his passion for running, completing the London Marathon in 2023. Patrick began marathon running in his 30s and has since completed 18 marathons across six continents. His achievements include all six Abbott World Marathon Majors, with his Six Star medal set to be earned at the Tokyo Marathon in 2026. Notably, he has run the Chicago Marathon twice—clocking his personal best of 3:15 in 1995 to qualify for the Boston Marathon the following year—and more recently has embraced marathons at a steadier six-hour pace. His global running journey has taken him to Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Berlin, London, Dublin, Cape Town, New York, Singapore, and beyond. In 2025, he will add Antarctica to his resume, completing the remarkable feat of running a marathon on all seven continents.

Alan, is incredibly excited to take on the world’s southernmost marathon. This will be his third marathon and his first outside of Sydney, Australia. A newcomer to running within the past year, he’s eager to embrace this next big challenge and push his limits in one of the most extreme environments on Earth.


Pete Daly (42) was born and raised in Sydney, Australia before moving to the US in 2012. The Ice Marathon will be Pete's 36th marathon and complete his 7 Continent's Club membership (Australia: Sydney '25, Africa: Luxor '23, Asia: Kyoto '23, Europe: Lisbon '24, South America: Lima '22 and North America: Monument Valley '23). A one and done Ironman finisher, Pete runs once a week and adds in cross training to stay sharp: surfing, swimming, walking the dog and playing with his two daughters (ages 2 and 5). Living in Carlsbad in sunny San Diego, Pete works as an account manager for a biotech company and loves to travel. A lover of adventure and exploration books, Antarctica will be a highlight for Pete as he steps on the continent made famous by explorers such as Shackleton and Mawson.


Alisia is an economist working in the fintech industry with a passion for endurance sports and global adventure. She began competing in triathlons in 2008 while living in Helsinki, inspired by the endless summer daylight. Drawn to unique and challenging destinations, she has completed marathons in uncommon places such as North Korea, raced three times at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp, and even won general classification cycling races in the Philippines.


Tiago Dionisio has run more than 850 marathons and ultras, including the World Marathon Majors. He aims to run a marathon on all seven Continents and so running a marathon in Antarctica will be like a dream come true. Tiago's favorite race is the Comrades Marathon in South Africa, which he has completed 23 times. He is also the Portuguese ambassador for the Comrades Marathon.

Domitilia has been running since 1991 and has completed marathons on six continents - this will be her seventh.


Joanna is an accomplished marathon runner who has completed 90 marathons around the world, including races in Dubai, Marrakesh, Jerusalem, Buenos Aires, Sydney, New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and many others across Europe. The upcoming Antarctic Marathon will mark her 93rd marathon and her seventh continent, completing her goal of running on every continent.

Catherine is a 35-year-old portfolio manager from Sydney, Australia, where she was born and still lives. She runs for fun and adventure and has completed around eight marathons across two continents. This December, she’ll head to Antarctica to experience one of the world’s most extraordinary places—and the very next day, she’ll line up for the Strait of Magellan Marathon alongside fellow runners. When she’s not racing, Catherine enjoys road cycling with friends, spending time with her two whippets, Pepe and Sal, and relaxing with her big family.

Amy is a dentist from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, and a passionate endurance athlete. Both a runner and triathlete, she has competed on some of the world’s biggest stages, including the Ironman World Championships in Kona and the Boston Marathon. In 2023, she earned a Guinness World Record at the London Marathon for the fastest women’s marathon dressed as a tooth—an achievement that reflects her spirit and sense of fun. Beyond competition, Amy carries deep personal motivation. Following the passing of her mother in August 2024 from esophageal cancer—her greatest supporter—Amy is dedicating her run in Antarctica to her mom’s memory. Accompanied in life by her white golden retriever, Ruth, Amy continues to embrace every challenge with heart, resilience, and purpose.








Chad Hawkins (age 53) is a professional artist and author from Utah, USA, whose creative career has taken him around the world. Wherever he travels, he hunts for unforgettable trails, mountains, and scenic routes to run or hike. He enjoys dreaming up and accomplishing unique fitness adventures. He has completed 21 marathons and recently qualified for the Boston Marathon. As an avid hiker, he has the goal of reaching all of the state high points in the United States (19 completed) and thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. He’s a husband, father, and grandfather who believes every day of life is a gift and blessing.

Tracey is a runner with a simple philosophy: run to eat, drink, and still fit into her clothes—a system that works most of the time. She has completed a half marathon in all 50 U.S. states and is now adding Antarctica as her sixth continent. Running has taken her to incredible places, connected her with amazing people, and given her countless reasons to celebrate new foods, cultures, and finish lines. When she’s not traveling for races, Tracey lives in Missouri with her husband and their two rescue dogs, Lucy and Tater.




Laura Kaye, an American living in Amsterdam, is a obsessed marathoner and ultrarunner who has completed an unhealthy amount of races. Starting with a marathon in all 50 US states, she moved onto international races with highlights including Pyongyang, North Korea to Kyiv, Ukraine. Recently, she graduated to some of the world’s toughest endurance challenges, like the 105k La Corsa Della Borra in Italy, and the 250k Marathon des Sables across the Morrocan Sahara. Now she is using the Antarctic Ice Marathon to prepare for a 100-mile Ultra-Trail marathon in New Zealand. (It doesn't have to make sense.)



Krzysztof is a 45-year-old doctor specializing in general and plastic surgery, with experience in emergency medicine. A passionate runner for over 15 years, he is on a mission to complete marathons on all seven continents—having already passed races in Europe and Africa.

Gregg is passionate about physical fitness, lifting weights three to four times a week, playing hockey twice a week, and running two to three times a week. He has completed 20 marathons, including Boston (four times), New York, Big Sur, Mount Desert Island in Maine, and even a trail marathon. In 2022, he ran King George Island. This year, just a few weeks after his 60th birthday, Gregg will take on the Antarctic Ice Marathon—the ultimate way to celebrate this milestone.

Dr. Isador “Izzy” Lieberman is an Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgeon who practices at the Texas Back Institute. He was born in Toronto Canada and moved to the United States in 1997. He is married with three children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys all outdoor activities, spends an abundant amount of time in Colorado skiing in the winter and biking or running in the summer. He has completed many marathons including the New York, the Dallas and the Leadville Marathon. He established the Uganda Spine Surgery Mission which, for the past 19 years has been providing services to the less fortunate in Uganda. He will be running the Antarctic Ice Marathon on behalf of the Blue Card Organization that supports the few remaining Holocaust Survivors.


Nicolas is an endurance athlete and adventurer with a passion for pushing physical and mental limits in some of the world’s most challenging environments. His journey has included climbing a Himalayan peak and completing the Annapurna trek in Nepal, crossing Corsica on the GR20, racing in two Ironman 70.3 triathlons, running a marathon on the Great Wall of China, and completing a standard marathon. Now, alongside friends, he is pursuing the ambitious goal of running a marathon on all seven continents. The Antarctic Marathon marks both the next step in this quest and the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, after which he will continue on to the Marathon des Sables Legendary in Morocco.

Dana lives in Canada, has very bad heat tolerance, and maintains a low profile online.



Antonio Martinez has completed marathons on every continent, with a global résumé that spans North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, and Antarctica. He is also an Abbott World Marathon Majors runner, having raced in Tokyo (2018), Chicago (2018), and London (2019). His recent highlights include the First Light Marathon in New Zealand (Oceania, 2023), the Rio de Janeiro Marathon (South America, 2024), and the Luxor Marathon in Egypt (Africa, 2025). Antonio’s passion for running continues to take him to extraordinary destinations around the world.


Born on August 20, 1982, Magdalena Masiewicz is a passionate explorer whose journey is defined by relentless determination and a constant drive for new challenges. Between the ages of 25 and 38, she built an impressive running résumé, completing numerous half and full marathons and excelling in ultra-distance events such as the 120km Runmageddon Sahara and Runmageddon Kazbek—races that push the limits of both body and mind. In Poland, her achievements are equally remarkable. She completed the unique “3 x Śnieżka = 1 x Mont Blanc” run, a grueling event that mirrors the elevation gain of Western Europe’s highest peak by summiting Poland’s iconic Śnieżka mountain three times in a single race. Over the past five years, Magdalena has shifted her focus to mountaineering, seeking adventure on some of the world’s most breathtaking peaks. She has trekked to Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp in the Himalayas and came within reach of the summit of Island Peak, turning back just shy of the top. Her mountaineering pursuits have also taken her across the rugged ranges of Poland, Slovakia, Georgia, and beyond. Now, Magdalena is setting her sights on the 20th edition of the Antarctic Ice Marathon. Driven by a desire to explore new horizons and embrace the unknown, she is ready to take on the frozen landscapes of Antarctica. For Magdalena, this race is more than a competition—it is the next step in a lifelong journey of resilience, adventure, and inspiration. She runs not only for herself, but also for everyone who dares to dream big and chase the extraordinary, wherever it may lead.

Katherine is an OBGYN physician passionate about innovation in reproductive health, with experience working in global non-profits and U.S. health tech companies advancing women’s health. A life-long runner from a family of runners, she has completed eight full marathons and thirteen half marathons. She is now taking on the Antarctic Ice Marathon to challenge herself and raise funds for women’s health research, turning every step into impact for patients worldwide.

Bill is a lifelong endurance athlete who has completed marathons, ultramarathons, Ironman races, and multi-day events. This race will be his first marathon on two new hips, and he looks forward to the challenge of a slow, cold run.

Jonathan is on a mission to complete marathons on all seven continents. Antarctica will mark his fourth marathon on his fourth continent, adding to his finishes in New York, Berlin, and Tokyo. He looks forward to meeting fellow runners and sharing marathon stories along the journey.

Ruth Murdie began running as a teenager to stay fit for her school hockey team—and she hasn’t stopped since. She prefers trails and unique events over ordinary road races, often choosing iconic or unusual marathons for her “continent checklist.” Her running journey has included Wachau in Austria along the Danube, the Busselton Ironman in Australia, the legendary Comrades in South Africa, the Sunrise to Sunset Ultra in Mongolia, and the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. Next up are the Antarctic Ice Marathon and the Straits of Magellan Marathon, which will bring her total to six continents. Originally from the UK, Ruth spent several years in Austria working for the UN before moving to Western Australia. She now works for the Government of Western Australia, managing earthquake monitoring systems, while continuing to pursue her passion for endurance adventures.


Urszula is a nurse and business owner who has completed 38 marathons around the world. In 2025, she is scheduled to run the Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney, Berlin, Boston, Chicago, New York, Cape Town, Tunisia, and Monumental Brasilia marathons. She loves traveling, meeting new people, and exploring the world through running.

I’m Pita Navarro, a lifelong thrill seeker raised in Mexico and now based in New York City. I’ve completed four Ironmans around the world and love testing my limits in endurance sports and the outdoors. When I’m not training, I’m a scientist turned entrepreneur, building Evvy — a women’s health company focused on the vaginal microbiome. Running in Antarctica is a dream come true, bringing together my love for adventure, nature, and pushing into the unknown.


Patrick’s running journey began with his first half marathon in San Francisco in 2009, when the dream of completing a marathon on every continent quickly took root. After ticking off Chicago in 2010, Paris in 2015, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, and Casablanca in 2016, and Sydney in 2017, only Antarctica remained. In 2025, crossing the finish line on the frozen continent will finally fulfill this 15-year goal. Inspired by runners from around the world, Patrick has embraced the sport not only as a personal challenge but also as a way to explore new places. Running has taken him across countless countries, offering opportunities to experience destinations he might never have discovered otherwise.

Denis is the head of a logistics company, a proud father of three, and a passionate traveler. With more than eight years of running experience, he has combined his love for endurance sports and exploration by pursuing the challenge of completing seven marathons on seven continents.

Yusheng has completed over 500 marathon and ultramarathon races, including more than twenty 100k races and five 100-mile races, across seven continents and over 80 countries and regions. He has run more than 130 sub-3-hour marathons, with a personal best of 2:42. Yusheng has finished the World Marathon Majors over six times, completing 31 races with an impressive average best time of 2:45 for the six majors, and has claimed 30 championships. In the summers of 2024 and 2025, he completed the North Pole Marathon, the “World’s Coolest Marathon.” He also holds two Antarctica records: the 100km in 9 hours 20 minutes at the 2024 Antarctic Ice Marathon and the 100-mile record of 22 hours 40 minutes at the 2025 Antarctic Ice Ultra. Yusheng is the Chairman of Shenzhen Yuanteng Investment and Development Company, specializing in real estate construction and financial investment.



Cynthia is a proud mom of three energetic boys, and staying in shape is her way of keeping up with their endless energy. A passionate runner, she is chasing one of her biggest dreams: completing a marathon on each of the seven continents. Cynthia thrives on setting bold, challenging goals that push her beyond her comfort zone, and this global adventure marks the next milestone on her bucket list. With determination and excitement, she can’t wait to share this incredible journey with others





Andrew is a highly accomplished endurance athlete who has completed approximately 140 triathlons, including 63 full Ironman-distance races (140.6 miles)—each finishing with a marathon. He has also taken on dozens of half-Ironman (70.3 miles) events and numerous shorter races, including the iconic Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon. Professionally, Andrew is a litigation partner at the Chicago office of Mayer Brown LLP, an international law firm. His practice focuses on labor and employment law, where he advises employers on workplace issues and represents them in a wide range of employment-related cases.

Jacek began running 15 years ago, starting with short jogs before gradually building to longer distances. Travel has always been a big part of his life, and he enjoys combining family and business trips with races around the world. His first international marathon was the Niagara Falls Marathon in 2015, followed by memorable events such as the Rovaniemi Marathon with Santa Claus in 2017. A win at the First Great Egyptian River Nile Marathon in Cairo in 2022 (a small field, but a victory nonetheless!) inspired him to pursue marathons on all seven continents. Since then, he has completed the TCS Sydney Marathon and the Maratona de Curitiba in 2024, and the Iwate Oshu Kirameki Marathon in Japan in 2025. Jacek has now finished 15 marathons, including two completed during full Ironman triathlons. While he hasn’t yet convinced his wife or their four children to join him in regular running, he hopes a family race may one day become his greatest adventure of all—maybe even more challenging than a marathon in Antarctica.


Dr. Claudia has been running for about 30 years, always for the love of the sport rather than competition. Based in New Zealand, she has focused mainly on off-road challenges, including completing the Kepler Challenge (60 km) in Fiordland National Park eight times. With decades of endurance experience, her goal for this marathon is simply to finish—the clock doesn’t matter.


Gerhard “Geri” Schuller was born in Romania and has lived in Germany for 37 years, holding dual citizenship. In 2025, he completed both his Six Star journey at the Boston Marathon and his 7th Star at the Sydney Marathon. To date, Geri has run 18 marathons across Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia, with his sights set on completing marathons on all seven continents.


At 62, Craig has completed marathons on five continents, including the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors. This event marks his sixth continent, with plans to run the Patagonia International Marathon next year to complete all seven. Along the way, he has also taken on extraordinary challenges such as the Everest (Tenzing-Hillary) Marathon in 2023 and the Kilimanjaro Trail Marathon in 2024. While finishing times are no longer the focus, Craig takes pride in finishing strong and well ahead of the cutoff.


Maddy is a 29-year-old financial advisor living in San Francisco,CA. She grew up as a competitive swimmer and did her first open-water race — Escape from Alcatraz — one week after turning 10, and again at 11, 12, and 13, plus a handful of other open water races, before eventually trading goggles for running shoes. Since discovering distance running, Maddy is chasing her dream of running marathons on all 7 continents and completing all the World Majors. She’s especially excited for the Antarctica race because it combines her two favorite things: running and traveling!





I’ve always been driven by big dreams and a deep desire to see the world — from the Great Wall of China to the pyramids of Egypt, safari in Africa, and even setting foot in Antarctica. After my first race, I was hooked, running 3 marathons and 3 ultras in just 6 months. Now, I hope to run on every continent — using this gift, God willing, to take in the beauty of the world, one incredible place at a time. It’s the perfect way to explore, challenge myself, and share unforgettable moments with the people I love.


Marcin Wiśniewski is a 51-year-old marathon runner from Poland with a passion for endurance and adventure. A businessman by profession, Marcin has completed 36 marathons across six continents, with Antarctica set to become his seventh. By December, he plans to complete two more marathons, making the ICE Marathon in Antarctica his 39th. Over the past 13 years, Marcin has also finished more than 70 half marathons—his favorite distance to race.


Amit is a sales professional by day and an endurance athlete by passion. In just two years, he has completed all six World Marathon Majors and an Ironman 70.3—milestones that reflect his relentless drive and discipline. Blending his love for sports and travel, Amit turns challenging races into global adventures, whether that means balancing time zones or planning a European trip with his six-month-old daughter. With his next goal set on running marathons across the remaining four continents to join the prestigious Seven Continents Club, Amit continues to embody ambition, resilience, and motion in every aspect of life.
